Those on the list are not really mainline markets. But how would you audit such claims? Do a full DNA sequence and find the stuff from other fish? I expect only the E U anti GMO legislation is making a nominal import inspections to keep out Bt soybeans or Roundup-ready crops out of Europe.
We all are GMO organisms, as much of 10% of our genome is from some other life form such a viruses and old diseases residues we have or our ancestors overcame, Mitochondria for example.
Who is paying for all the anti AquaBounty lawsuits? Follow the money! Who is sending out the instructions to their allies to not sell such things?

I’m still undecided on this, because I don’t have all the facts from long term studies. What we might be more worried about currently, is the copious amount of endocrine disrupting chemicals used around us.
