There’ve been talks about the release of KHV in Australia in a plight to save some of Australia’s most beautiful river systems. Is it really going to happen?
How will this affect you, and your beloved koi? Come and listen in, to be full-bottle on the subject. This way you can have all your questions answered and be better prepared to take special precautions to keep your pets safe from the killer virus.
My feeling is the release WILL HAPPEN, with a date set around September 2017.
The WAVMA have been able to organise for the lead veterinary scientist (who is doing research on this agent) to present a webinar.
Join in on Thursday, 14th April 2016 at 2:00 PM AWST (4pm AEST) for this free webinar.

why is it necessary to control carp in Australia?
will it be effective?
is it safe to use? and,
what is the origin of the virus?
Learning Objectives – participants will understand:
1. Important common and emerging viral and bacterial diseases in tilapia;
2. How these disease affect tilapia and tilapia production; and,
