This presentation will cover basic taxonomy of sea snakes, common conditions of stranded Hydrophid sea snakes found in Queensland waters and basic veterinary examination, diagnostic techniques, anaesthesia and temporary rehabilitation housing.

1. the definition & taxonomy of ‘true’ sea snakes (Hydrophiinae).
2. common conditions encountered in stranded Australian sea snakes.
3. anasethesia & diagnostic techniques used in sea snakes.

This webinar is suitable for veterinarians, vet techs/nurses, vet students, research scientists and aquarists/aquarium husbandry staff.
